SYNOPSIS: Initially launched in 2007 by Dharmapatha Creations, the movie tells the story of Siddhartha Gautama, Prince of Kapilavastu, located in Nepal, who lived throughout sixth century B.C. He was born on Vaisakha Poornima. The historical past of his household, the Ikshvaku dynasty, is traceable to pre-Ramayana instances.
