NOTES FROM COMMON COMMENTATORS’ CRITIQUES:
-The Quote by Winston Churchill has all the time been attributed to him. The position of Abraham Lincoln subsequent to the quote was a visible instance of Churchill’s phrases and never meant to be attributed to Lincoln. For example, the second quote by Winston Churchill at 6:17 is positioned subsequent to an image of a firefighter however is to not be attributed to the firefighter. Slightly an instance of the good phrases said by Winston Churchill. Thanks for many who have commented about this confusion.
-There are numerous superb sports activities clips, quotes, and people that aren’t included on this video. None have been unnoticed on objective and under no circumstances is that this video complete of the good individuals who have completed nice issues and motivated others. (Extra movies to return later to characteristic extra nice inspirations).
-It’s understood that sports activities accomplishments are typically not seen as higher accomplishments than scientific, non secular, social, financial, and charitable accomplishments. Nonetheless, this video’s theme is principally set to sports activities. Under no circumstances is that this meant to speak the message that sports activities are extra essential than the latter. Do not learn into it greater than vital.
-The truth that ladies should not included on this video was not purposeful in a sexist means, however somewhat it was as a result of the video was made for an viewers that, on the time, included primarily male sports activities fans. There are numerous superb ladies in sports activities and out of doors of sports activities which have completed nice issues and are an inspiration to all, nonetheless, this video was not made to have fun that. (Movies to return quickly will cowl many of those points.) Moreover, the video portrays principally U.S. athletes and sports activities. Please don’t be offended or consider that that is to say different international locations are lesser. Different international locations and different sports activities have superb people and success tales which might be inspiring however the unique viewers this was made for was extra conversant in the U.S. and U.S. athletes.
